2026 Tax Tips Newsletter
Dear Clients & Friends,
Summer is coming to an end, and fall is right around the corner. We hope you are finding ways to keep cool as the heat persists. Enclosed is our 2026 tax tips newsletter, for your reading enjoyment or alternatively as a sleep aid. In it, you’ll find advice related to social security, gifting stock, and various tax planning strategies for 2026.
As always, planning is one of the most important steps to having a successful tax result. Please keep us informed of any major changes that occurred this year or that you intend to do before the year ends. Your tax obligation can change by buying a new house, getting married, changing jobs, having a child, or no longer being able to claim a child as a dependent.
We are still down one staff member and continue to seek the right person to bring on board. If you know someone that has some tax preparation and accounting experience, then please send them our way.
Extended individual tax returns are due on October 15th. If you have not brought in your tax organizer and supporting documents, we recommend that you do so sooner than later. Due to being short staffed, it is taking longer to process tax returns than we would like. We really appreciate your patience and understanding.
If you would like to send us information electronically, then you may upload tax returns and related information to a secure portal called Intuit Link. This method is far more secure than an email. We encourage you to call or email us if you are interested in transmitting information to us using this method so that we can invite you to the portal. You may email your favorite staff member or our general email at info@rgscpa.com, and we will set up a link for you to utilize the portal.
Please contact our office if you have questions concerning any information in this newsletter. As always, we appreciate your continued patronage!
